Do I need a permit to build a pool?

Typically, yes. In Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, a new pool generally requires a building permit and several inspections, and pool remodels often need a permit too. We work with licensed architects and engineers on the drawings, pull the permits and coordinate the inspections through final approval.

Does Florida require a fence or barrier around a new pool?

Florida's Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act requires new residential pools to have at least one approved safety feature, such as a pool barrier, an approved safety cover, or alarms on the doors and windows that open to the pool. Your city and your HOA may have their own rules as well. Our exteriors team can build the pool fence as part of the same project.

Can you remodel my existing pool?

Yes. Pool remodels are part of what we do. On the free estimate we look at your pool and talk through options.

Can you build the pool, deck, pavers and fence together?

Yes. The pool, the pool deck, paver patios and fences can all be on one contract, so one team plans and builds the whole backyard.

Who builds the pool?

Avrax Impact Windows & Doors Corp. is a licensed pool contractor. Florida generally requires pool construction to be done under a licensed pool contractor, and that is the license we build under.

How long will my pool take?

Timing depends on the scope, permit review in your city and material lead times. Your written proposal includes a project timeline so you know what to expect before you sign.
